We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sr. Innovation Product Manager to join our team as a full time remote employee. You will develop and manage the initial go to market of key innovative products in the automotive remarketing and wholesale auto auction space. This is a blend of product management, product development and customer facing roles. 

The ideal candidate will have deep industry experience, strong product instincts, and a genuine fluency with AI tools, using them daily to accelerate discovery, design, prototyping, and delivery. They must be capable of delivering and getting adoption of new products that create tangible business value and exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and perform the end-to-end development and initial roll-out of a high-priority product, ensuring product fit and scalability. 
  • Serve as a key innovator, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to the table that solve customer pain points and accelerate go to market through to adoption. 
  • Write, evaluate and iterate effective prompts, AI based workflows and markdown files, keeping security, quality and scalability top of mind. 
  • Frequent travel required to build strong relationships with project customers/partners, estimated 35% to 50%. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as integration and support points become relevant to product fit, go to market and adoption 
  • Engage with customers directly to gather insights, understand their evolving needs, and ensure product fit and adoption.
  • Foster an environment of innovation.
  • Familiarity with auction operations systems (AMS platforms, simulcast, title/arbitration workflows) and relevant integration, ecosystem partners is a strong plus.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to evaluate architectural trade-offs and product life cycle implications of choices made during the product development, deployment and adoption lifecycle. 
  • Maintain a keen focus on results, using data-driven insights to refine processes, products, and strategies that create competitive advantages in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on innovation and solution development, preferably within the automotive remarketing and/or wholesale auto auction industry.
  • A proven track record of delivering innovative new products.
  • Experience in leveraging AI as a force multiplier in product development, go to market, adoption and ongoing support. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills; able to look beyond the obvious and anticipate the customer’s future needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and champion innovative ideas.
  • Ability to balance meticulous product planning with flexibility and adaptability, ensuring the team can pivot when new opportunities or challenges arise.
  • High-level customer engagement experience, with a demonstrated ability to turn customer feedback into actionable product or service improvements.
