  • Maintain program schedules, milestones, risk, and critical path
  • Coordinate execution across global engineering teams, including internal and external development partners
  • Identify technical, operational, and supply chain risks early and drive mitigation plans to closure
  • Challenge technical assumptions and facilitate data-driven engineering decisions across cross-functional teams
  • Support design and tradeoff discussions involving optical performance, thermal behavior, manufacturability, reliability, yield, and cost
  • Conduct technical program reviews to ensure design maturity, qualification readiness, and manufacturing readiness
  • Track qualification activities including GR-468, environmental stress testing, accelerated life testing, and customer qualification requirements
  • Present concise technical and program status updates to executive leadership and customers

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience with laser diodes, pump lasers, fiber coupling/alignment, optical modules, photonic packaging, or hermetic optoelectronic assemblies strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of product development lifecycles including prototyping, design verification, qualification, and manufacturing release
  • Technically credible, highly organized, execution-focused, and comfortable driving difficult technical discussions and challenging unsupported assumptions
  • Experience with structured program management methodologies
  • Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and global engineering teams
  • Strong technical communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills
