JOB DUTIES: Own program area and drive end-to-end technical delivery of software development initiatives. Liaise with cross-functional technical and business teams for successful delivery for customers. Define communication plans, establish technical requirements, define system architecture changes and prepare end-to-end technical launch plans with cross-functional delivery teams. Identify and track risks to project delivery and overall program schedule. Keep leadership and cross functional teams updated on project timelines and results. Make recommendations on existing software development processes and procedures, and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

Requires Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus 3 years as a Technical Program Manager or any occupation where technical project management experience in software development was gained.

 

SPECIAL SKILLS: This position also requires education or experience with: Requirements analysis; Technical writing & documentation; Agile methodologies; Data analysis & business metrics; Change management; Software engineering architecture analysis; Code testing and launch.

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

Washington: $190,008 to $235,375 per year
