The Role
 We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day accounting work that keeps our business moving forward. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work closely with teams across the company.  

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to numbers, helping others understand financial information, and growing their skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support core accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with teams on budgeting, monthly expenses, and financial tracking
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and questions related to transactions or account balances
  • Follow established processes while also helping improve how we work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Experience in the livestock industry preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and 10-key by touch
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
