Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card activity
  • Assist with financial reporting and audits
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting and principles and GAAP

 

Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable:

  • Assist with processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements
  • Review and verify expense coding and employee reimbursements
  • Assis with payment processing and check runs
  • Monitor outstanding receivables

 

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist with preparation and analysis of financial reports and communication of any fluctuations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes

 

Audit & Compliance:

  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
  • Assist in developing and monitoring adherence to internal controls
