Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • A/P & A/R Processing: Perform accounts payable, account receivable, and administrative functions for corporate entity in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Month-end and year-end close: Assisting with the accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Account reconciliation and analysis: Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger accounts, analyzing financial records, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Journal entries: Preparing and reviewing journal entries to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
  • Audits and compliance: Supporting internal and external audits, including maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Technical accounting expertise: Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy.
  • Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
