We are seeking Server Assistants to Work in our on-site Steakhouse. This role assists with table maintenance, food running, and overall service flow to ensure a seamless and elevated fine dining experience. The Server Assistant upholds sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with Health Department guidelines. Hours: Full-time/Part-time: Variable weekends and holiday's required
Job Responsibilities
- Perform consistent table maintenance to support smooth service flow and enhance the guest experience.
- Assist Steakhouse servers with greeting guests, delivering food, and pre‑bussing tables as assigned.
- Provide BIG Service by anticipating guest needs and maintaining a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris‑free dining room in coordination with Steakhouse servers and management.
- Stock flatware, glassware, dishes, linens, and other supplies to support service throughout the shift.
- Properly label, date, cover, and refrigerate prepped items in dining side stations.
- Complete all opening, closing, and side‑work duties, including setup, breakdown, cleaning surfaces, and sweeping floors.
- Follow opening and closing checklists and perform all duties according to Steakhouse standards.
- Assist with training and mentoring new Team Members when requested.
- Work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Education and Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully pass all required pre‑employment screening.
- Internal candidates must have at least six months in their current position and meet all Transfer & Promotion Policy requirements.
- Must obtain and maintain all required work cards, alcohol awareness certifications, and non‑gaming registrations as required by local jurisdiction.
Physical/Mental Working Demands
- Ability to move throughout the dining room, bar, and service areas for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and balance as needed.
- Ability to tolerate temperature changes and frequent immersion of hands in water, cleaning agents, and sanitizing solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read, interpret, and use POS systems and other kitchen/service equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Work environment may include loud noise, guest chatter, overhead music, live entertainment, and areas where smoking is permitted.
- Manual dexterity required to operate POS systems, glasswashers, utensils, and restaurant equipment.
- Requires hand–eye coordination and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
