Core Functions

  • Fabricate and assemble steel components per shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards
  • Verify fit-up, alignment, and workmanship to ensure dimensional accuracy 
  • Operate fabrication equipment and tools (e.g., welders, CNC drills) and report issues as needed 
  • Safely handle materials using cranes/hoists while following all safety policies and PPE requirements 
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area to support safe and efficient operations (6S)

  • Follow procedures and support Quality Control to meet inspection and compliance requirements
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions 
  • Perform welding per approved WPS when trained/certified 
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively to meet production schedules and goals

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Reliable attendance and dependability required
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to accurately read and use a standard tape measure
  • Experience in construction, fabrication, material handling, or manual labor is a plus (not required)

The Bridge Fabricator plays a key role in building high-quality steel bridge components in a shop environment. This position involves hands-on fabrication, assembly, and teamwork to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production. We are currently hiring for all shifts, Day Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Night Shift: Monday-Friday; 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM;
