What You Will Do:



  • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions: Vertical, horizontal, or overhead

  • Read blueprints / drawings and take / read measurements to plan layout and procedures

  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements

  • Set up components for welding according to specifications

  • Operate angle grinders when necessary to prepare parts to be welded

  • Align parts to be welded using calipers, rulers, measuring tapes, clamps, fixtures…etc.

  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws

  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety


What You Bring:



  • Proficient in GMAW (gas metal arc welding) and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)

  • Capable of adjusting machines to different material thickness

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

  • Able to communicate and work/weld with others

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely


Additional Requirements: Qualified candidates will be asked to complete a weld test to D1.2 AWS (American Welding Society, Structural Welding Code - Aluminum)
