2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Summary:
Ensure product is readily available on pick line and to satisfy internal customers.
Responsibilities:
- Look at stocking report, identify items that need replenishment and act accordingly.
- Placing product in the correct location on pick lines.
- Ensure all labeling is correct, bar codes exist and system information meets regulations. Report any discrepancies to the floor supervisor.
- Utilize computers to look up and order stock.
- Communicate with forklift drivers, receiving employees and pickers to ensure proper product placement and needs.
- Transfer quantities and monitor quality of stock.
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
- Report food safety concerns to Warehouse Management, SQF Practitioner or HR. If open food product is found, set it aside and immediately notify Warehouse Management or the SQF Practitioner for disposal.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Ability to work with all disciplines; interpersonal communication.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Basic understanding of radio.
- Ability to plan, organize, and work successfully on simultaneous projects.
- Knowledge of all shipping/production/warehouse related aspects.
- Knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and i5.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is desired.
- Comfortability with heights.
- Ability to work flexible schedules with occasional overtime and weekend hours.
- 1-2 years of experience in high traffic atmosphere.
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
