Job Description

DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is a leading source for high performance interconnect products. We design, engineer, and produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, conduit assemblies, custom connectors, wire enclosures and much more!

We are privately held American owned small business made up of five (5) vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products.

We are looking for dependable, fast-paced, hard-working individuals with experience as a Stockroom Clerk with the following qualifications and experience: 

JOB SUMMARY

As a stockroom clerk, you will manage receiving, storage, and distribution of materials as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory. Our ideal candidate is attentive, organized, efficient, energetic, and hardworking. Ultimately, you are tasked with ensuring all departments have adequate access to the materials needed.

SCHEDULE/COMPENSATION

  • Monday through Thursday (4-Day, 40-Hour Workweek)
    • 6:00AM - 4:30PM
    • Possible OT on Friday and/or Saturday as production demands require
  • Hourly; Full-Time $17 -19 /HR (Depending on Experience)

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Maintaining and updating records.
  • Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock.
  • Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
  • Developing or improving inventory management procedures.
  • Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise.
  • Processing of requests from management for expediting kits
  • Organization of Stock room
  • Inventory of overage material from released kits

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Ability to solve problems swiftly with little or no direct supervision.
  • Able to work quickly and accurately in a complex, fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Competent in the daily tasks to meet job duties.
  • Inventory experience and knowledge required
  • Must be able to prioritize work responsibilities of self.
  • Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
  • Licensed forklift truck operator preferred

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely involves standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax and scanning machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands include the following but are not limited to good mobility, ability to move between the 2 facilities and within the facilities Physically capable of routinely bending to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, lift bundles to shelves, cables and harnesses and carry to different departments, bending and or standing as necessary. Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
