JOB SUMMARY

This role sits at the heart of how Product & Health Experience (PHE) turns strategy into action. As a key analytical and operational engine of the Product organization, this role supports the clarity, connection, and momentum needed for success. By supporting the development and execution of our internal communication strategy and operational rhythm, you will help ensure priorities remain transparent, roadmaps are accurately tracked and socialized, and teams are equipped with the information they need to deliver meaningful outcomes for the enterprise.

You will work closely with a Strategy Partner to track and measure organizational- and team-level goals, support planning and resourcing analysis across portfolios, and maintain the operating cadence that allows product teams to thrive. From developing content and materials for high-impact department All-Hands to compiling data that informs leadership messaging, this role provides the essential logistical and analytical foundation to ensure the big picture is actionable. Equal parts analyst and coordinator, you will help maintain the connective tissue across the department.

This is an engaging role for someone who thrives in detailing complexity, collaborating across teams, and maintaining the systems, dashboards, and shared forums that help great product teams do their best work.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business/ market owners to identify key business issues, articulate problem, apply right analytical framework, develop solution and recommendations, represent findings to stakeholders and own the outcome
  • Under the guidance of Strategy Consultants and Leadership, participate in / lead small to medium sized strategy projects/ work streams with the help of internal or external strategy consulting resources
  • Serve as subject matter expert (resource) to staff and stakeholders on membership, growth and operational strategy issues
  • Provide periodic informal work guidance/direction to other team members; Provide performance input and recommendations to management for development/ training plans. May have supervisory responsibilities on a project basis
  • Apply a broad knowledge of concepts and principles to develop analytical frameworks, approach and methodology best practices to analyze complex strategy issues, often applying ingenuity and originality to develop unique solutions
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or Life Sciences or other related degree

Substitutions

  • Six years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Health, Economics or other related degree

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 3-5 years of relevant, progressive experience in strategy / management consulting firms or internal strategy groups of healthcare and related companies

Preferred

  • Experience in Health Insurance operations and technology
  • Experience in operational improvement

Pay Range Minimum:

$86,400.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$138,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.  The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
