Job Summary

 

This is maintenance and grounds work for the Physical Plant Department which involves general maintenance and grounds duties. This position will be basic maintenance and grounds procedures.

Responsibilities

 
  • Assists the Grounds Teams with grounds tasks.
  • Assist the Maintenance Teams with building maintenance tasks.
  • Assists the Janitorial Team with building maintenance tasks. 
  • Assists the department in campus setups.
  • Monitor campus areas for contractor work.
  • Moderate-to-light physical labor.

Required Qualifications

 
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff, students, visitors and guests, and to efficiently convey information.
  • Ability to work independently, with attention to detail.
  • This position does not require driving of state vehicles.
  • Must possess a current, valid Georgia driver's license.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
