The Office Assistant (OA) at Chapman Grand plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the residential community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Mail and Package Management
- Log in and out mail and packages using internal tracking systems
- Notify residents of package arrivals and maintain organized storage
- Building Operations Support
- Assist with resident check-ins and checkouts, including key and card return
- Conduct administrative tasks to support building operations and student housing procedures
- Customer Service and Communication
- Answer phone calls and respond to resident inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide accurate information regarding housing processes, policies, and resources
- Access Management
- Generate temporary access cards for residents when needed
- Issue lockout codes in accordance with departmental policy and verify identity before providing access
- Administrative Tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Chapman Grand office space
- Assist with preparing materials for housing assignments, move-in/out processes, and other seasonal projects
- Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with Residence Life staff and fellow Office Assistants
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required
