About the Role
Provides supervision and coordination of activities of janitorial workforce cleaning and
maintaining premises of assigned facilities to ensure that customers receive high-quality services
that meet all contract requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
Assigns tasks with time and quality expectations to employees, inspects completed work for
conformance to standards and completes quality control inspection
Communicate with customer regarding special requests and work orders.
Responsible for fostering an environment that will support employee engagement,
development and cohesion.
Resolves employee problems related to contract requirements/standards through coaching,
mentoring or discipline and refers them to Project Manager when necessary.
Exercises unilateral authority to discipline subordinate employees for misconduct and/or to
protect SOAR365 staff.
Documents employee job performance according to contract requirements and standards;
recommends termination to Project Manager and/or Director as deemed appropriate.
Trains employees and coordinates additional training with Quality Control Manager.
Request and distribute cleaning supplies and equipment according to guidelines determined
by the Project Manager.
Foster and maintain a positive professional image for SOAR365.
Drives customer satisfaction by ensuring flawless customer service, quality workmanship
and responsiveness to issues and requests from the COR.
Participates in the interviewing process of potential candidates.
Other duties as needed by management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety
Ensures compliance with all safety rules/regulations. Maintains safe and clean work areas.
Ensures that safety is emphasized on a regular basis. Responsible for conducting safety and quality
inspections and directs the necessary measures to resolve any deficiencies or shortcomings.
Request repairs and changes when needed. Adheres to all agency policies governing safety,
discrimination/harassment, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and
the agency's Human Rights plan.
Quality
Works with Crew leaders assigned to the job to be sure that the task always meets quality
standards according to the Quality Control Plan. Promptly consults with Managers and Crew
Leaders to correct any deficiencies according to the Quality Control Plan.
Operations
Consults with each Crew leader before task commences to ensure maximum quality and labor
efficiency throughout entire task. Monitors daily cleaning to be sure tasks are performed as
scheduled according to Quality Control Plan. Performs work in progress inspections.
Supplies Requirements
Ensures that all supplies are on hand before a task is started and that timely deliveries are
scheduled during normal business hours. Consults with Managers and Crew leaders when
problems arise.
Documentation
Document incidents and problems. Prepare supply list for supplies needed in a timely manner.
Ensures daily scheduling of each task is correct.
Meetings/Training
Leads/participate in meetings and training as required. Identifies training needs. Adheres to all
Agency policies and procedures including policies on discrimination and sexual harassment.
Effectively works with volunteers / interns in the business unit to achieve the mission of the
organization while providing a meaningful opportunity for the volunteer(s) / intern(s) to contribute
in a manner they find rewarding. Treating volunteers & interns as valuable members of the
SOAR365 team.
Requirements & Qualifications

*Have and maintain a valid Virginia driver's license (REAL ID required) and acceptable driving record to
remain insurable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills for positive and clear interaction with managers and
employees and for completion of documentation in a timely/accurate manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to persuade and motivate others and invoke a positive work atmosphere.
Strong leadership skills required
Willingness to support life and occupational skills in individuals with disabilities.
Strong ability to collaborate and coordinate, both with internal and external customers/team members,
demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
Adequate mathematical skills.
*Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
*Ability to do repetitious bending at the waist and kneeling.
Ability to work from a 6-foot ladder.
Computer literate; ability to perform necessary computer tasks on current agency computer programs; ability
to complete required training for new programs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - - - -
High school graduate.
Janitorial experience.
Supervisory experience in a janitorial environment or with a work crew.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
