The role of the Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of the production schedule, inbound and outbound traffic, and managing the buying &

delivery process of goods or services.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

Purchase direct and indirect material for the operation while maintaining inventory levels to meet business requirements.

Maintain inventory accuracy during receiving and maintaining regular cycle counts.

Develop contingency plans to account for temporary materials or transportation disruption.

Review components issued to work orders for accuracy.

Document and correct material quality issues through the SCAR process.

Schedule all location production in ERP System. Coordinate inbound and outbound van shipments.

Provides logistics support including coordination and prioritization of planned shipments as well as shipment tracking and troubleshooting distribution related issues.

Confirms completion and tracking of supply chain supply-related documentation.

Assists with issues affecting the development of production and inventory plans.

Assists with the development and maintenance of relationships with third-party suppliers.

Price management for the company’s materials in close coordination with the Shared Services department while interfacing with the ERP system.

Coordinate with internal customers in the S&OP process to anticipate needs and scheduling orders.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and an ability to deal with complex and conditional situations.

Participate in daily shop floor meetings.

Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:

1-2 years supply chain and/or manufacturing experience required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Previous experience in a manufacturing ERP.  

Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Warm and friendly demeanor with good energy and a positive attitude.

Maintain a valid driver’s license.
