Job Description

GEMCO Constructors, LLC, headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, is a mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems and service contractor providing comprehensive design and build solutions for its customers throughout the United States.


Position Summary
The GEMCO IT Systems Analyst will provide technical assistance to employees using knowledge, research skills, and other tools to resolve issues by remoting into computers, or at the employee’s desk. In addition to resolving software, hardware, and other computer systems issues throughout the day - you will setup new users, computers, and mobile devices. You will be responsible for monitoring inventory and refreshing equipment, as well as present ongoing problems to the GEMCO IT Team to further align the department.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties
• Respond to queries within Zendesk ticketing system, Microsoft Teams chats, emails, or phone calls.
• Communicate effectively with all staff
• Provide technical assistance for employees
• Follow up with customers confirming resolution
• Properly use resources to troubleshoot problems
• Proper documentation of troubleshooting steps in ticket
• Maintain department’s computer systems, documentation, and records
• Enrolling mobile devices in Apple Business Manager
• Train staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing errors

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years’ experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
• Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
• Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
• Excellent analytical skills
