Tax Credits & Incentives Manager

Location: Watertown, SD
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Status: Exempt | Full-Time

We're looking for a strategic and analytical Tax Credits & Incentives Manager to lead one of our most impactful business functions. As the subject matter expert for the federal 45Z Clean Fuel Production Credit and other renewable energy incentive programs, you'll play a critical role in maximizing tax incentives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with leaders across Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in accounting, finance, tax, auditing, compliance, or regulatory administration.
  • Experience in renewable energy, manufacturing, agriculture, public accounting, or federal tax incentive programs is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Prevailing Wage & Apprenticeship (PWA) requirements is strongly preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, CIA, or other professional certification is a plus.

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex federal regulations.
  • Financial analysis, risk management, and project management expertise.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and database skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across departments.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
