Tech Service Operations Lead

Why This Role Matters
The Tech Service Operations Lead plays a key leadership role in shaping the strategy, performance, and growth of London Drugs’ TECH Services. This role ensures strong service delivery across Photo Electronics, Audio Video, Computing, and Passport Photo services, while supporting evolving service offerings and driving financial success.

You’ll work cross-functionally to strengthen service standards, enhance team capability, and identify new opportunities that support both customer experience and business growth.

What You’ll Do

Service Strategy & Operations
  • Support the development and execution of a cohesive TECH Services strategy
  • Oversee service delivery to ensure consistency, quality, and growth
  • Monitor service performance, profitability, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, audits, and merchandising standards
  • Support stores as needed, including during staffing challenges
Financial & Business Planning

  • Develop budgets, financial targets, and service forecasts
  • Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and customer behavior
  • Identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage
  • Partner with leadership to implement business-wide initiatives
Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with vendors to support TECH service offerings and business needs
  • Attend vendor meetings and evaluate partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Business Unit leaders
  • Support recruitment, training, and workforce planning initiatives
Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to TECH teams
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team environment
  • Support performance management and employee development
  • Build bench strength and develop future leaders within TECH Services
Customer Experience & Sales

  • Champion strong customer service aligned with our Brand Framework
  • Drive sales through effective service offerings and selling techniques
  • Support team development in product knowledge and service expertise
  • Build customer relationships and encourage repeat business
Operational Standards & Compliance

  • Maintain service areas to company merchandising and presentation standards
  • Ensure inventory control, audits, and reporting are completed accurately
  • Follow all Loss Prevention and safety policies and procedures
  • Act as a key holder and respond to operational needs when required

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of TECH products, services, and operations
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Apple systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with retail systems and merchandising practices
  • Familiarity with TECH service platforms and operational tools
