JOB SUMMARY: Serve as a Technical Project Manager acting as the Technical Quarterback for Oracle Cerner deployments. Provide on-site technical leadership to ensure readiness, coordination, and successful system go-lives across client hospital environments.
 
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead the design and validation strategy for Cerner Millennium environments, including cross-solution dependencies and domain management.
2. Serve as the primary integration lead for assigned projects, ensuring all technical and architectural elements are aligned with the overall implementation strategy.
3. Manage complex client relationships, providing guidance and influencing outcomes to achieve targeted project objectives.
4. Oversee domain strategy, issue resolution, test strategy, and change control activities across project phases.
5. Act as the final point of escalation for integration-related risks, issues, and decisions.
6. Define and oversee test and validation strategies to ensure solution integrity and environment readiness.
7. Work closely with consultants and managers to ensure cross-functional alignment.
8. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
11. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:
This position operates with a high degree of independence and focuses on end-to-end technical readiness. The role requires expert judgment, risk assessment, prioritization of work, and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
 

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* 8--10 years related experience in healthcare IT, systems engineering, or technical consulting.
* Healthcare system implementation or EHR deployment experience.
* Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered.
* Strong understanding of hospital IT environments, integrations, and data flows.
* Ability to work on-site at client locations and provide hands-on technical support.
 
COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $130-140K.  Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.  This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
