Position Summary and Purpose:
Provide technical repair and maintenance assistance to our customers and distributors over the phone. The first year in this position involves a comprehensive training program which will require frequent overnight travel during the training period only, but most weekends are at home. *Must live in the Cincinnati area.*
Duties and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL:
- Analyze information provided by customers, distributors and Cincinnati Incorporated personnel regarding machine performance, repair, and maintenance issues; then supply technical advice and instruction to provide satisfactory resolution
- Review, interpret and distribute engineering data and information to our Service and Parts personnel
- Develop, maintain, and distribute standard instructions for pre-installation, installation, and start-up of new Cincinnati machines
- Specify and recommend tooling and instrumentation required to diagnose, calibrate, and maintain our machines
- Maintain reference files for service instructions and engineering information for our Service personnel
- Enter machine installation and warranty problems into database; update and maintain these entries
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance or engineering related field
- Excellent communication and professional customer service skills Superior trouble-shooting skills combined with a professional demeanor
- Superior working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and high & low voltage electrical systems
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Willingness to travel around the Tri-state area, and also beyond as needed
- Clean driving record & valid driver's license, also, ability to pass a background & drug screen
Education Required:
- High School 2-year technical degree OR Comparable military experience preferred

This position requires a high level of physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. Candidates must be able to safely use their hands to operate tools, equipment, and controls, and regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Employees must possess the visual acuity necessary to perform the essential functions of the role, including close and distance vision, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus as needed.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in both office and industrial environments where noise levels may occasionally be moderate to loud.
The noise level in the work environment can be loud occasionally. This is a high-travel position with significant overnight travel required.
