Job Description
OPEN POSITION: TECHNOLOGY LEAD - DISTRICT WIDE

PAY RATE: Stipend $1,300 Annually

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Technology Lead position is designed to provide formal leadership opportunities within the Technology Department while strengthening support and collaboration across our schools. Technology Leads will help coordinate site workflows, support daily operations, serve as a resource for staff, and assist with successful implementation of technology initiatives.

As the Technology Department continues to grow, we recognize the need for additional localized, day-to-day operational support and leadership within our schools. In addition to daily employee responsibilities, Technology Leads will serve as a key connection between building staff and the Technology Department by providing support, guidance, and leadership related to technology systems, processes, and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Serve as a building-level technology resource and liaison between staff and the Technology Department.

- Provide day-to-day technology support, troubleshooting, and guidance while assisting with identifying, prioritizing, and communicating technology needs and support requests.

- Serve as an escalation point for technology concerns requiring additional support, coordination, or follow-up.

- Assist with onboarding and training staff on technology systems, procedures, devices, and resources.

- Support the implementation and communication of technology initiatives, updates, and district-wide projects.

- Assist with coordinating building technology workflows, device needs, and operational priorities.

- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve technology processes, user experience, and overall technology support.

- Support staff with effective technology practices that enhance teaching, learning, and daily operations.

- Serve as a positive, collaborative role model who promotes effective technology integration and excellent customer service.

- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling technology-related information.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Employed with the District for more than two years.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with district technology systems, devices, and processes.

- Ability to build trusting and professional relationships with staff and administrators.

- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and customer service skills.

- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technology-related challenges.

- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and follow through on assignments.

- Self-starter who demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently.

- Flexible thinker who can adapt to changing technology needs and priorities.

- Ability to remain calm, positive, and solution-focused when addressing challenges.
