Lighthouse Technologies is seeking an experienced Telecom Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cable and fiber installation industry. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations for your assigned team of technicians and contract partners. Some of the core responsibilities include mentoring & up-training field technicians, maintaining metrics for assigned team, and managing lead technicians. This position will require frequent travel with all travel expenses paid for by Lighthouse Technologies.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following tasks:
•Supervising local lead technicians and field technicians and other individuals or groups as determined by local management.
•Developing and promoting a team atmosphere and ensuring the proper support is provided to each technician within the operation.
•The Telecom Operations Manager will have direct contact with the local MSO, our customer. It is important that these relationships are maintained and developed.
•Manage workloads and routing to ensure proper efficiencies based on local market guidelines.
•Managing day-to-day field operations for a assigned team, communicating with other members of local support staff, resolving issues and ensuring no technician is left out later than necessary.
•Ensuring that Lighthouse Technologies is in compliance with all field-related performance metrics.
•Enforce company safety practices by completing random safety site inspections.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
•Must have at least 3+ years of telecommunications experience.
•Must have a valid Driver’s license and meet Lighthouse Technologies MVR qualifications
•Ability to pass nationwide background check and drug screen.
•Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
•High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
•SCTE or NCTI Membership and/or Certificate are preferred.
•Previous leadership experience in cable or related industry.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this job.
•Frequent walking, standing, sitting within the work area.
•Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 80 pounds.
•Must be able to work in various weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, and dry)
•Have physical strength, endurance, and work well with your hands.
•Must be confident while working at heights for extended periods of time
