Job Description

About the Department

General Responsibilities:

Provide specialized accounting support during the fiscal year-end close process. Responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance of grant-funded programs. The role works closely with finance staff, program managers, and external auditors to complete year-end procedures, prepare financial reports, and support grant compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with grant accounting.  

Strong understanding of fund accounting and grant compliance requirements, analytical and reconciliation skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced year-end environment, attention to detail and accuracy, written and verbal communication skills.

Other Qualifications

Anticipated Work Hours:

Two days per week, 8AM – 2PM, 6 hours per day, 12 hours per week. From July 6 – August 31, 2026
