Job Description

The Department of Family Medicine at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a Temporary (Hybrid) Program Assistant II.

About the Opportunity

Call patients to schedule surveys/questionnaires and testing to comply with studies that are ongoing in the Research Division of Family Medicine.  Obtains and completes consents with patients for research projects/surveys.

What You'll Do

  • Schedule meetings and appointments for Research Division staff/faculty.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Creating Excel Spreadsheets, organizing references and analyze data.
  • Proof read manuscript formatting and edits, paper submissions.   
  • Gather information for grant proposals.
     

Pay Grade: 13

Length of Assignment:  Approximately 8.5 months

Work Hours: 37.5 Hours per week


  • Associate's degree.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in research and/or public health.
  • Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of employment

     

     

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Basic computer knowledge and able to operate standard office software.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good verbal and writing skills
  • Good customer service and telephone skills.
