The Temporary Transportation Analyst will support day-to-day logistics operations by ensuring shipment visibility, data accuracy, and carrier performance tracking during our busy Spirit season. This role will assist in managing freight movement, validating shipment data, and supporting cost and service optimization initiatives during peak shipping periods.

  • Collect and consolidate shipment records from multiple sources, including Bill of Lading (BOL) (physical and scanned), SharePoint repositories, and DC shipping logs
  • Maintain and update rate tables and shipment data within internal systems
  • Generate and support carrier activity and performance reports
  • Identify, track, and escalate shipment exceptions including missing documentation and rating discrepancies
  • Assist with data reconciliation across systems (Transportation Management System (TMS), accruals, operational data)
  • Support peak operations including 3PL to Store and replenishment flows
  • Perform data cleanup and validation activities to ensure audit readiness
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field; one year of transportation, logistics, or data-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills while managing high-volume, time-sensitive workflows
  • Attention to detail and audit-ready mindset
  • Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation)
  • Familiarity with transportation data including BOLs, rates, and shipment flows
  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams

 

The pay range reflects the potential rate for this role. Individual base pay is determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, and the scope and responsibilities of the position.


$18.00 per hour
