Position: Title I Administrative Assistant, Central Office


 


Terms of Employment: Beginning Date of Employment - 7/1/26


                                 12 Month Position, Pay Grade 65, Regular State Benefits


 


Qualifications: Two years of college or technical school OR Three to five years of bookkeeping experience OR an equivalent combination of training/experience; Possess a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google and Word; Possess knowledge of working with multiple budgets and purchasing processes; Strong people skills that facilitate dealing with constituents, families, and other departments 


 


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assist with creation of Title I Application and support documents as entered in Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan 

  • Prepares support documents for Title I Application

  • Assist with communication to all Title I/Elementary Schools and answer questions from schools  

  • Obtain quotes, enter purchase orders in LINQ fund management system, track receipt of items and process invoices for payment for Title I and specific state funds for elementary programs

  • Create procurement waivers as needed for fiscal compliance

  • Support and instruct bookkeepers and monitor school and district budgets for Title I 

  • Construct spreadsheets and databases

  • Ensures time and effort documentation is completed by each employee funded by multiple budgets and maintained on file.

  • Update Title I Crate with required documentation

  • Maintain records of business accounts and transactions for monitoring purposes

  • Utilize accounting software to manage accounts

  • Work closely with Finance Department and Human Resources

  • Assists in local, state and federal audits and monitoring

  • Calculate salaries and benefits for all employees paid with Title I Funds

  • Process and maintain contracts for contracted services with agencies and/or individuals 

  • Process timesheets and monitor hours for contracted employees

  • Generate financial reports when needed

  • Communicate parent concerns to Principals and Directors

  • Key federal budgets and amendments using the LINQ system

  • Participate in departmental coverage of main switchboard as scheduled

  • Other duties as directed by the Chief Academic, Director of Federal Programs, and the Coordinator of Elementary Programs
