Job Description

SUMMARY

We are looking for a Tool Delivery driver who takes pride in reliability and plays a vital role in helping our teams succeed. You will work under the general direction of the Tool and Fleet Coordinator, take the role responsible for delivery of requested tools, materials, and equipment to the job sites efficiently and serve as a communication point related to tools and equipment between the warehouse and the job site.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Plan routes and deliver/return tools safely and on time.
  • Load/unload tool and equipment (some weighing up to 100 pounds); deliver fragile/hazardous products with care.
  • Communicate between warehouse and field teams to ensure satisfactory costumer service is provided for field employees. (Example: Tool return date(s), Broken tools, Missing tools, etc.)
  • Inspect vehicle (fluids, tire pressure), maintain a clean and safe vehicle, and follow all traffic laws.
  • Assist with facilities maintenance (i.e. snow and trash removal)
REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, knowledge of the area, and ability to determine the safe and direct routes to job sites with.
  • Prior delivery experience preferred.
  • Basic tool and equipment knowledge required.
  • This is a physical job, requiring the ability to walk, bend, climb, sit and stand. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance and frequently lift 10-25 pounds. You will be subject to outdoor conditions and must be willing to work with common chemicals, such as diesel fuel, gasoline, oil, paint thinners and cleaning solvents.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Available for overtime, some Saturdays, and occasional after-hours calls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
