Summary

We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team in East Providence, RI. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation of transportation services for our residents, contributing significantly to their overall experience and well-being within our community.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate transportation schedules for residents, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding transportation needs.
  • Collaborate with staff to facilitate outings and appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
  • Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Assist in training staff on transportation protocols.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to transportation promptly.
  • Promote a positive and safe environment for all residents during transport.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or healthcare is a plus.
  • Proven experience in transportation coordination or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation.
  • Compassionate attitude towards seniors and their needs.
  • Chafers license
