Your impact on the team’s mission
The Transportation staff member has a pivotal role on the Southeastern Life Center team, ensuring that clients are safely transported to and from our outpatient care or residential treatment teams. This pivotal role is responsible for assisting patients in and out of vehicles while providing non-emergency client transportation.
Some of the daily activities you would do as the Transportation staff are:
- Ensuring patients are comfortable and safe during transit.
- Monitor the system for transport requests and complete them in a timely manner.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients.
- Complete vehicle checks and assesses hazards; reports all accidents.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with MH/SA/IDD concerns is a must.
