    JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position operates all types of trucks with transportation of gravel, asphalt, and supplies. Position performs snow removal and mounts/dismounts plows and wings from truck. The individual will also perform a variety of manual tasks, as a laborer, in connection with operations and assists in loading and unloading material and equipment transported by truck and operates small machinery. Performs other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, is part of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 3, with a starting hourly rate not to exceed $27.21.

    SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma or certified equivalent with a minimum of six months relevant work experience is required
    • Must possess valid CDL-B driver's license with good driving record
    • Must have good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations
