Position Summary
Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials to the customer base and the backhauling of materials to the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Drivers operate tractors with trailers on public streets and highways.
- Opening and closing facility gates, reading and following shipping documents
- Maintaining accurate logs and following instructions from the Dispatcher.
- Drivers may or may not participate in the loading of materials but are responsible for securing the load using approved devices and methods.
- Perform Pre and Post Trip Inspections of delivery equipment
- Provide excellent customer service to customers during delivery and pickup operations
- Identify and report safety, discrepancy and efficiency concerns
- Follow detailed shipping documents and bills of lading and report any deviations to supervisor
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Maintain Class A license and passage of DOT physicals
- Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations

Work Environment
- Mostly outdoor position, subject to weather-Frequent
Physical Demands
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100lbs
- Ability to work in changing weather conditions
- Ability to spend long periods of time on a forklift
- Rare ability for non-CDL driving
