Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Trucking Compliance Agent to join our team. This is an entry-level position — no prior trucking or compliance experience is required, though it’s a plus. We’ll provide the training you need to succeed. You’ll work directly with trucking companies and owner-operators to help them stay compliant with FMCSA, DOT, and state-level regulations.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review and process carrier compliance documentation, including driver qualification files, ELD records, and hours-of-service logs 
  • Monitor and maintain client compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations 
  • Assist clients with new authority setup, including MC/DOT number applications and UCR registration 
  • Conduct compliance audits and identify potential violations before they become issues 
  • Manage drug and alcohol testing program compliance (Clearinghouse queries, random testing pools) 
  • Track and renew permits, licenses, and registrations (IFTA, IRP, BOC-3, etc.)
  • Communicate with clients regarding compliance deadlines, violations, and corrective action plans 
  • Stay current on changing federal and state trucking regulations 
  • Support clients during FMCSA audits or roadside inspections 
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance management software 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • No prior experience required, but preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing work 
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulation-driven environment
