Job Description

This position is open to these First Northern Bank of Wyoming branches - Buffalo, Gillette, or Sheridan.




Summary/Objective:

The Trust Administrative Assistant’s primary role is to work alongside the Trust Officers of the Trust Division, providing support in servicing accounts and maintaining high-quality client relationships.


Essential functions:

  • Support Trust Officers in responding to inquiries and requests from clients and related parties.
  • Coordinate client meetings, including scheduling, preparation, and distribution of presentation materials.
  • Assist Trust Officers with account reviews and ongoing account relationship management.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client files by documenting correspondence, communications, and other pertinent materials as directed by Trust Officers.
  • Collaborate with Trust Officers on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide assistance to Trust Operations as needed to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
  • Promote new account relationships through active community involvement and professional networking opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of fiduciary principles, trust administration practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in customer, community, and public relations activities to enhance the Bank’s visibility, strengthen relationships, and support new business development opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned that are consistent with the position.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Able to learn new computer software quickly

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Commitment and continuous demonstration of ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years’ Administrative Assistance experience is required. Experience in wealth management or trust division is a plus
  • Experience with Trust accounting platforms a plus



Supervisory:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities and may serve as a mentor for other positions in the organization.



Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance.
