Unarmed Flex Security Officer (Part-Time)

Location: Newnan, GA

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Flex Security Officer to join our team in Newnan, Georgia. This position is ideal for someone looking for a consistent weekday schedule with the opportunity to pick up additional weekend shifts.

Pay

• $18.35 per hour

Schedule

• Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Guaranteed)
• Additional weekend shifts available
• 16–24 hours per week

Position Overview

This position is located at a busy industrial shipping and logistics facility. The primary responsibility is controlling access at the truck gate, ensuring that commercial vehicles and visitors enter and exit the property safely and according to site procedures.

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining accurate records and following established security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access through the truck entrance gate
• Verify driver credentials and authorized site access
• Log incoming and outgoing commercial vehicles
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
• Provide professional customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel
• Observe and report suspicious activity or security concerns
• Follow all post orders and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred
• Experience logging or processing semi-truck traffic is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with drivers and visitors
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Must be able to stand and walk as needed throughout the shift
• Must pass all required background screening and meet licensing requirements, if applicable
