We are always hiring professionals eager to exceed customer expectations. We’re hiring a reliable, experienced Lead Security Officer to join us on a Full-Time Schedule! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure indoor environment for clients, customers, contractors and other workers by patrolling, tagging indicated checkpoints, monitoring premises, writing a detailed DAR entry and occasionally performing search procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Supervise a team of Security Officers on designated shift. 
• Oversee day to day site operations. (i.e. reviewing daily reports) 
• Performance management 
• Responsible for training, coaching, and counseling of staff.? 
• Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property. 
• Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules. 
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required. 
• Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs). 
• Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks. 
• Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports. 

Qualifications: 

• Required minimum 2 years of Security experience
• Must have VA State Guard License (DCJS)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
• Proficient computer skills are required (Microsoft Word, Excel) 
• Open availability to work all shifts and schedules. 
• Must possess reliable transportation. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively motivate and guide a team. 
• Ability to make clear decisions during crisis or high-stress periods. 
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature. 
• Must be reliable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior. 

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
