Duties

In this position, you will: Work a rotating shift schedule and perform maintenance activities as required. Operate and maintain central utility plant equipment with minimal supervision. Perform a variety of duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor to support continuous plant operations. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain four high-pressure steam generators producing 44,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi. Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain two high-pressure steam generators producing 80,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi. Operate and maintain four centrifugal electric motor-driven air compressors supplying compressed air at 110 psi. Operate and maintain four 3,500-ton electric-driven York centrifugal chillers and two 3,500-ton electric-driven York YD chillers. Operate, monitor, and maintain associated auxiliary equipment supporting steam, chilled water, and compressed air systems. Operate and maintain an 8-megawatt cogeneration system, including a natural gas-driven turbine and Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Monitor and maintain the Heat Recovery Steam Generator, capable of producing 80,000 pounds of steam per hour at 150 psi, to ensure reliable and efficient utility plant operations.
