The VA Intake Analyst serve as the primary liaison for potential clients, conducting thorough intake case reviews, verifying eligibility, and accurately documenting all necessary information and evidence for disability claims and benefits, to ensure the percentage of disability, write recommendations and, explain the decision and reason. They will be proficient in using computers, be able to verify that there are no discrepancies within documents, and excel at both verbal and written communication. They will be detail-oriented, professional and have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. Work hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. Training for the position will also be from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST. This is a remote work from home position.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Conduct outbound calls to (potential clients) veterans or their survivors who have completed consultations for VA disability compensation to see if they meet the criteria of cases we help with. Accept live call transfers from potential clients for the same purpose.
· Verify information to include but not limited to employment, dates of service, deployments, combined rating if any, individual rating for conditions service connected, conditions they are seeking to get service connected whether diagnosed or not and why they believe it is related to their time in service.
· Use VA’s Schedule for Rating Disabilities and other applicable instructions to determine the percentage of disability.
· Write recommendation after analyzing and speaking to potential client explaining the decision and reason.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
