Veterinary Assistant

We’re looking for a compassionate, eager Veterinary Assistant who wants to grow, learn, and make a real impact every day. As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll support our medical team, care for patients, and help deliver the exceptional client experience All Creatures is known for.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians during exams and procedures

  • Administer medications as directed

  • Help with catheter placement and lab work

  • Monitor patient vitals and behavior

  • Feed, clean, bathe, and comfort patients

  • Keep the clinic clean, organized, and ready

  • Safely handle and restrain animals

  • Educate pet owners on care and medications

  • Support the team with daily tasks

What Makes a Great Veterinary Assistant

  • Experience in a veterinary setting (preferred)

  • Strong communication and empathy

  • Teachable, organized, detail‑oriented

  • Calm under pressure and in emotional moments

  • Comfortable with animals of all sizes

  • Experience with dog behavior or handling is a plus
