We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers exceptional client care. This role is ideal for someone with strong multitasking abilities, a positive attitude, and a passion for both animals and people. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and patients warmly, creating a welcoming and supportive environment

  • Manage a high-volume phone system, including scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and triaging calls appropriately

  • Coordinate appointment scheduling efficiently while balancing urgent care needs

  • Process payments, invoices, and maintain accurate financial records

  • Maintain and update patient records with precision and confidentiality

  • Communicate clearly with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care

  • Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills

  • Support daily clinic operations, including administrative and clerical tasks

  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or medical office preferred

  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational ability

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software

  • Experience with Avimark and/or ezyVet is preferred, but not required

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emotional situations
