Job Description

Copeland Veterinary Hospital in Cookeville, TN is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our compassionate and collaborative team.

This is more than just a front desk position — it’s an opportunity to build relationships with clients, support exceptional patient care, and grow your career in the veterinary field. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Schedule

  •  Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays are required 
  •  Rotating schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holiday support as needed

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:

  • Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion 
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communication 
  • Process payments and maintain accurate medical records 
  • Support veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment 
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a busy veterinary setting

Qualifications:

  • Previous veterinary, healthcare, or customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotionally charged situations
  • Comfortable with technology and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • A team-first attitude and commitment to helping pets and people
  • Flexibility and reliability for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
