Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented veterinary receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be our client's first point of contact, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s calendar.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
  • Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
  • Coordinate communication between veterinarians, technicians, and clients.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Handle incoming emails and messages promptly.
  • Assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary technology or related field education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficient in using computer systems; experience with veterinary software (Idexx Neo) is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Compassionate towards animals and their owners.
