Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and committed to providing high-quality medical care and exceptional client service. This role supports veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, diagnostics, treatment, and client education.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
Prepare patients and equipment for surgery; monitor anesthesia and recovery
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, radiographs, and medication administration
Accurately document medical records and treatment plans
Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and post-operative instructions
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment
Uphold hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Minimum of [2] years of veterinary clinical experience preferred
Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and radiography
Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Commitment to compassionate patient care and client service
Schedule & Physical Requirements
Ability to work scheduled shifts, no weekends or holidays.
Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with patient handling
