What You'll Do

As an experienced technician or CVT, you will play a vital role in patient care and client communication. Your day-to-day will utilize your full scope of practice, including:

  • Assisting in surgery, managing anesthesia, and monitoring patient recovery.

  • Performing dental scaling, polishing, and digital dental charting.

  • Obtaining digital radiographs and processing diagnostic laboratory samples (blood, urine, cytology).

  • Administering medications, placing IV catheters, and drawing blood.

  • Educating clients on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-operative instructions.

  • Maintaining accurate, detailed electronic medical records.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Previous experience working as a veterinary technician is required. Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) are highly preferred.

  • Skills: Strong proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, and venipuncture.

  • Mindset: A positive attitude, a passion for teamwork, and a commitment to providing compassionate care to both patients and their humans.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teammates and build trust with clients.
