We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Overnight/Emergency (ER) team. This role is ideal for technicians who thrive in high-acuity situations, enjoy critical thinking, and are passionate about emergency and critical care medicine.
Key Responsibilities
Triage and assess emergency and critical patients
Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, diagnostics, and surgeries
Monitor and manage hospitalized and critical care patients
Place IV catheters, draw blood, run laboratory tests, and administer medications
Operate and maintain anesthesia and monitoring equipment
Communicate effectively with veterinarians, team members, and pet owners during high-stress situations
Accurately maintain medical records and treatment sheets
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe ER environment
