Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the design, construction, and commissioning processes of the thermal power plant,

ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance plant efficiency and performance using

advanced technologies and methodologies.

• Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements and

innovative solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and

processes.

• Monitor and manage project risks, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place.

• Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of the plant, ensuring minimal downtime

and optimal performance.

• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and

continuous improvement.

• Ensure alignment with Adani Group’s strategic goals and the thermal power plant’s

operational objectives.

• Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, to ensure the plant’s operations

contribute positively to the region.

• Provide regular updates and reports to the Head - Projects, highlighting progress,

challenges, and solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record of 25+ years in thermal power plant design, construction, and

commissioning.

• Demonstrated expertise in advanced technologies and methodologies for improving power

plant efficiency and performance.

• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills with a focus on achieving measurable

outcomes.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Power Engineering.

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.

Years & Type of Experience

• 25+ years of experience in large-scale thermal power plant projects, including design,

construction, and commissioning.

• Extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
