About Conductor Power

Conductor Power is constructing America's renewable energy infrastructure. Headquartered in Baxter, MN, we are a privately held, fast-growing EPC delivering utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, and data center power solutions across the United States. We are ABC STEP Diamond rated, nearly 6x safer than the industry average, and built on a 50-year legacy of people-first values. This is your chance to shape the financial future of one of America's most dynamic clean energy builders.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Conductor Power is looking for a Vice President of Finance who is equal parts visionary and operator. This is a seat at the executive table with real influence over strategy, capital allocation, and the financial architecture of a company scaling fast in one of the most important industries in the country. You will report directly to the President and partner with the full leadership team to drive the financial performance and long-term health of the organization.

We need someone who has done project finance in renewables, understands how EPC margins work, can raise capital, and is comfortable presenting to lenders, investors, and a board. You will also be the leader and coach of our finance organization, including the Controller who owns the day-to-day operational finance function.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Financial Strategy and Leadership

Set and execute the company's long-term financial strategy in alignment with CP's growth goals and clean energy mission.

Intercompany cash transfers/management including but not limited to investment strategies and subsequent reporting.

Serve as the primary financial advisor to the executive team on performance, capital structure, and strategic decisions.

Lead enterprise financial planning, forecasting, and multi-year scenario modeling to guide executive decision-making.

Build and maintain a high-performing finance organization by developing leaders, setting standards, and building scalable processes.

Capital Markets and Project Finance

Develop and execute financing strategies across debt, equity, tax equity, and project-level capital structures.

Manage ongoing relationships with lenders, investors, tax equity partners, and financial institutions.

Oversee project finance activity including construction draws, debt service, and working capital management at the project level.

Drive compliance with IRA provisions, ITC, PTC, transferable tax credits, and other clean energy incentive programs.

Support strategic investment evaluation through financial modeling and due diligence.

Financial Reporting, Controls, and Compliance

Oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and industry financial regulations.

Establish governance standards and internal control frameworks that protect the company and scale with growth.

Coordinate regulatory filings, energy market financial disclosures, and annual audits.

Operations and Risk

Lead enterprise risk management including financial, operational, market, and regulatory risk identification and mitigation.

Oversee insurance strategy, bonding capacity, and enterprise asset protection programs.

Direct treasury, liquidity management, and banking relationships to optimize the company's capital position.

Develop and Oversee ERP platforms, financial systems, and reporting technologies to ensure data integrity and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with Operations, Preconstruction, Business Development, Procurement, and People Operations to align financial strategy with execution.

Investor and Stakeholder Relations

Prepare and present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the CEO, board, investors, and lenders.

Foster a culture of accountability, financial discipline, and continuous improvement across the organization.
