Job Description:

Position Summary 

The Vice President, Strategic Alliances is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key software partners in the Legal AI space to deepen business relationships to support Epiq’s growth objectives The partners include Legora, Harvey, Relativity and other major Legal AI software firms. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in managing relationships with various sized firms ranging from large, complex organizations to start-up firms.   

 

Essential Job Responsibilities 

  • End-to-end ownership and support of relationships with established partners with the intent of creating new or growing current revenue streams. 

  • Develop and/or execute the go-to-market model for the partnership  

  • Drive and manage co-selling efforts across regions ensuring that Epiq’s sales teams are engaging productively with the partner’s sales team to develop pipeline and close business Manage and resolve channel sales conflicts should they arise. 

  • Structure and conduct regular QBRs and operational check-in calls to ensure progress is being made on key initiatives of the partnership. 

  • Align with executive leadership at the partner to ensure that Epiq has leadership support and mindshare. 

  • Collaborate with product, development, sales, support and marketing to drive successful partnering initiatives. 

  • Engage with Product teams to develop an understanding of current products/solutions and future roadmap to inform opportunities to expand existing alliances. 

  • Track opportunities, pipeline, bookings, marketing activities, and development activities to provide measurable KPIs around the success of assigned relationships.  Conduct regular review calls to track progress and identify any inhibitors. 

  • Provide first line of support for partner escalations, troubleshoot challenges and act as an escalation point to lead internal teams to a resolution. 

  • Partner with Marketing to develop sales assets and demand generation/pipeline generation activities. 

  • Works closely with legal and business teams to create, negotiate, amend, and renew contracts. 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years in complex selling role either in business development, consulting, or partner management. 

  • Experience building key strategic relationships and demonstrated ability to make these relationships successful. 

  • Strong project management experience, with exceptional skills at handling multiple, complex projects. 

  • Experience partnering with modern AI/SaaS based software firms and developing go to market partnering initiatives with them. 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to effectively influence internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization. 

  • Strategic and analytical thinker who can translate ideas into action plans. 

  • Experience in the legal industry a plus.

  • Location-based market rate for the role
