Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to help sort, inspect, and organize vintage items with care and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates quality, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment where accuracy and efficiency matter.

Responsibilities

  • Sort vintage items by category, condition, style, era, or other assigned criteria.
  • Inspect items carefully for quality, damage, completeness, and authenticity indicators.
  • Separate items into appropriate groups for cleaning, pricing, listing, storage, or shipment.
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure items are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Record item details accurately using internal systems, spreadsheets, or inventory tools.
  • Assist with labeling, tagging, and preparing items for display or distribution.
  • Communicate unusual findings, inconsistencies, or quality concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Follow company procedures for handling, sorting, and storing valuable or delicate pieces.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work carefully with unique or delicate items.
  • Ability to organize and sort items efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer or data-entry skills are preferred.
  • Good communication skills and a dependable, professional work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, lift, carry, or move items as needed for the role.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in sorting, inventory, warehouse, retail, resale, or collectibles-related work.
  • Familiarity with vintage goods, antiques, secondhand merchandise, or similar items.
  • Experience identifying item condition, styles, materials, or categories.
