Job Description
The Warehouse Associate assists with daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This position involves handling the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn the ins and outs of shipping and warehouse operations.

Location: Oberlin, OH
Hours: M-F, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
• Receives all materials into the ERP system and performs necessary material transactions, including unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments, and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Performs cycle counts and inspects products to ensure they meet quality standards before shipping. Pack and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Label, weigh, and prepare shipments for courier pickup. Ensure outgoing shipments are accurately documented.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently while transporting materials to various departments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, receiving, scrapping, and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Ensure that all products are stored in the appropriate locations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions, and can work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic computer skills and shipping software.
• Math skills for inventory and shipping calculations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by OSHA and environmental regulations.

Work Environment
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations.
• Employees may frequently be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They may lift and/or move up to 45-55 pounds without help.
• Walking and standing on the Plant floor.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One to three years of warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
